WHAT ARE THE AREA CODE GAMES?: Regional teams are composed of players from their respective area codes to compete in the tournament for bragging rights of who is number one.
DO TEAMS PRACTICE?: Yes, practices are permitted if coaches and parents can agree on a practice schedule. We understand that many parents, coaches, and players have busy schedules. If a parent chooses not to have their child practice with the team due to scheduling conflicts, it will not negatively impact the player's standing or playing time.
UNIFORMS: Each player will receive two (2) visors, two (2) jerseys, a Hoodie, an Area Code ring, and a bag. After registration, the order will be processed, and parents can pick up their child's uniform on Friday at their assigned location. These items will also be available for pickup throughout the weekend. All players must wear regular softball pants with a belt and a pair of socks that match their uniform colors.
HOME & AWAY JERSEYS: Home and Away teams are predetermined by the schedule. Black jerseys are for the home team, and pink for away.
DIAMOND KAST: Perfect Game employees will manage DiamondKast. This is a critical factor for determining individual awards.
POOL PLAY GAMES: Saturday will be filled with competitive pool play, leading into the start of the tournament bracket Saturday evening. On Sunday, the bracket action continues, culminating in the championship games.
COACHES GEAR: Head coaches and assistant coaches will each receive a hat or visor. Coaches may wear their travel team's t-shirt and shorts.
PANTS, SOCKS & BELTS: All players must regular softball pants with a belt and a pair of socks that match their area code uniform colors.
HOME & AWAY FROM BRACKET PLAY: Higher seeds will be the home team during bracket play. For pool play, home and away teams are predetermined by the schedule.
